WTB- Onan CCk starter motor

I'm looking for a starter motor for an Onan CCK, late 60's vintage.  It's used on a Miller AEAD 200, as well as other applications.  Please contact Steve, PM, This Thread or at [email protected] you,  Steve
Reply:Look on eBay.  Search for "b48m".  I see new starters for around $55.

Reply:I looked at those on ebay.  My machine didn't come with a starter so I have no way of telling if that is the correct style.  I understand there are a lot of different starters for the CCK, and they aren't interchangeable.  Is that correct?What year is your CCK, and what happened to your old starter?  Steve

Reply:The manual for my AEAD-200LE shows several compatible starter part numbers, and researching those numbers turns up even more replacement parts.  I don't know how many will work with your machine, but I suspect that there are probably more than a dozen different versions that will.
Reply:It's not easy to take a picture of the location.  The starter switch and some electrical components are in the way.  If the motor has several possible starters how do you find out which one is  correct?  What would be the reason to have different starters for the same motor, and will they all fit?Steve

Reply:This sounds like it's more difficult than I originally thought.  Time for some more research.Thanks Steve
