I can't find 12lbs spool of .025 wire anywhere - only .023. Can I run this with my .025 drive roll? I can't even find a .023 drive roll for my Lincoln Weld Pak 140.
Reply:0.023 and 0.025 are for all practical purposes the SAME. Same welding parameters, same drive rolls on the machine. The best laid schemes ... Gang oft agley ...
Reply:Well that makes things easy. I'll use the same tips/drive roll for .023 and .025. I'm trying to find a store near me that sells 12lbs of either. I finally found a online store that sells .025 but I would have to pay in shipping equals the cost of a 2lbs roll. Thanks

Reply:Thanks for the heads up DSW. I went ahead and filled it out. I actually found a welding supply store 2 blocks from where I work and they have 11lbs spools of .025 for $44 bucks. Probably not a bad deal for NYC. Never thought to look in Manhattan for supplies.
Reply:Hey mutant,Here's an E-Bay store you can get (2) rolls of .023, 10#, for lass than $35 shipped. I have some... works great.Dennyhttp://cgi.ebay.com/Mig-Steel-Weldin...item45f5ad1b67Complete Welding/Machine/Fab.
