Been working on this one for quite awhile.  Usually manage to sneak a couple hours on Sundays to tinker, so it's taken me almost 2 months to get this far.  Started with making each flower, which takes 2-3 hours from cutting out to welding onto the rod to shaping all the petals. Built a little jig to do the S bends for each flowers.  I originally envisioned a big 10'' diameter circular base, but the one I ordered was just too thick for my Oxy setup to weld, so I turned the base into a bending jig to bend the large feet bends and just left it like it is.  Actually like this much better than having a big base on it.Oxy welded a few of the legs together, then finally got my MIG welder up and running (didn't have any gas) and used that for the last of the legs.Still need to sandblast the entire thing, along with some cleanup and shaping for spots like the tips of the feet.  I'm also going to use some thin wire to wind around the leg welds so it looks sort of like a bouquet (and cover up my ugly welds!)I've done a few standalone flowers, but this has been my biggest project yet.  Pretty happy with how it turned out so far.  Can't wait to see it all cleaned up and painted or powder coated!Excuse my gut protruding into the picture -Jeremy

Reply:Far from flawless   Thanks, though! Sort of hit the wall on it for now.  Garage is getting cut in half and everything is shoved into a corner right now, so I have neither the time nor the space to work on it.  Was hoping to finish it off before the remodel, but that didn't happen.  Sort of par for the course for my projects -Jeremy
