Cart ideas

So I just ordered a millermatic 211 with spoolmate, it's going to be my hobby/personal/portable machine. Now I need to build a cart but something mid-size where I can sit the plasm cutter too. I would like to hear some ideas,picture,ect...I tend to over-think somethings and can never make a final decision...I think too much lol.

Reply:Build your own.  Great learning project and u will not be satisfied with a premade one.      If u don't have a smooth driveway/garage. Reply:Here is mine but look over many other carts to fine what you should have on it and what not to do.  If you are putting your tanks on it use big wheel in the back under and outside the tanks.  Don’t make the tank bracket solid straps as tanks sizes change slightly.  Some guys like angled welder positions for better viewing of the controls.  Draws for storage of consumables something to store leads and rods. .  I mounted a box with 2 receptacles and a long extension so I could move the cart around and have both welder plugged in.  Get all the ideas settled in your mind before construction for a better project results.    Attached ImagesLast edited by acourtjester; 11-16-2012 at 11:05 AM.

Reply:Heres mine, I figured in adding another level on top later for a plasma. So the whole thing is sturdy and stable enough to do so. The height was figured so the controls are easily reached without old guys bending over. Reply:Great carts everyone, I'm kinda stuck between a cart like fullscale and markball2. Fullscale cart is nice and compact but markball2 is wide and spacious. I made a cart for my tig months but it was too compact.
