Well, I have three different brand monitors, two of them are the exact same size and the middle one is just a little wider. All of the stands are different heights so I had to use books to get all of the monitors level. Plus one stand was broken so I had to lean it up against a monitor and printer which meant I couldn't use my printer... Here is what I started out with:It was too messy for me!I bought a two pieces of 1/8" angle, a piece of 16 gauge 1/2" round tube, and some 1/8' flat stock. I made a relief cut, then bent it to the angle I wanted the side monitor to be at:Drilled some holes and two of them are hanging!I got the other monitor mounted today too but I forgot to take a pic! I might finish it tomorrow but it will be below 0 and I don't have heat in my garage! More pics when I get some more progress done, no welding on it yet...Building a 94 crew cab Chevy long bed dually welding truck. Haha. Here are a few pics of how I attached the monitors:Here's all three mounted:Welding the legs on...Got the legs on and I made sure I calculated every measurement right...Welded the feet on and drilled holes in them! This is how it bolts to the desk, I had to drill a hole though the desk tube on each side.Building a 94 crew cab Chevy long bed dually welding truck. Reply:Loos pretty clean! You could have gotten much fancier in the build with gussets and all but it wouldn't work any better and would have taken a lot longer. Ageed on the paint, otherwise even indoors, if it is too humid, it will develop rust and stain everything arroundMikel
Reply:That's sweet man, I have been considering going to more monitors lately, so thanks for making it look so clean.
Reply:Thanks guys! And it is very very sturdy. Doesn't even need gussets!Building a 94 crew cab Chevy long bed dually welding truck.
