Reply:Papaharley, I hear you and my wife is usually REALLY tolerant of all my hobbies and obsessions except maybe Salma Hyeck  I just got photos of the welder and engine and it looks really clean.  Can't tell if it has a tig torch or spool gun (the guy didn't respond to that question) It looks to have at least 25 feet of stinger and work leads.  Hard to tell it's all in a pile in a trailer.  Asking another $400 for the trailer.WHY can't I have a big shed???!!  This thing could replace my mig and my Tombstone hunchback...One of you Bastrop / Elgin guys please buy it... Reply:Put an attractive cover over it, or a low-viz one, or paint it camo.I have three ISO containers in my yard, but they are painted woodland camo on the sides, and camo WORKS. They blend very well. Fresh camo makes stuff "go away".It can double as an emergency generator during power outages, another selling point.
Reply:You are a cold hearted group.  I know where this is going... you dont' have my best interestes at heart, you LOVE to watch a man crumble and melt, buy something he clearly doesn't need, and then face the wrath of the wife and the humiliation of standing in the driveway wondering how he ended up with so man welders when he's just a stupid Bed Frame Welder (TM).Friday after knocking off work you hit the ice house on the way home (if you ever lived near the Texas coast you'd know what those are) drink beer and trade stories about bozos like me.  You bait me like you flip a spinner bait at the edge of the lily pads to see if you can get me to strike in that primitive way that only fish and lizards do so well.YOU HAVE NO SKIN IN THE GAME! But one question... how big is this thing?  there's only so many places I can hide it...

Reply:Just pull a bunch of news articles on the considerable number of people who DIE in Texas, Arizona, etc, when their air conditioning quits and they get heat stroke. That's no joke as those who've been to Texas know.It will be July before you know it. It's not really a welder, it's a genset with weldy output options.Do you think if you get this it will cause her to divorce you ?Is she pretty ? Is she a good cook ?
