I saw some orange ultra-flex welding lead from direct wire at my LWS and was really impressed with it. Weldingsupply.com has it for $1.50/foot plus shipping. However, when I search the board, there seems to be a lot of people recommending EB Flex from Electron Beam Technologies. How do these two products compare? I don't really need a lot. I was thinking of making 10 foot whip and ground and maybe setting up a set of 20 or 30 foot extensions. I really wouldn't need to reach farther than 25-30 feet from welder for what I do.Pros and cons of each? is there some other brand I ought to be looking at? A for what its worth, my point of reverence is the Hobart flexible cable.Miller Multimatic 255
Reply:I bought 25' (min. order) of #1 EB Flex for I think $1.22 ft.  (Can't find receipt now) seems like very nice cable but i thought I had ordered #2 cable for $1.07 ft.  Oh well, I was on the fence on whether to buy #1 or #2 cable anyway (300 amp welder).  Cable seems flexible enough and works for me, but I am not a pro and know nothing about welding cable!Everlast PowerArc 300
