Is there a minimum voltage for spray transfer???
Reply:About 25 volts depending on available amperage, gas mixture, wire size etc. 27-30 volts seems to be the commonly used settingsTiger Sales: AHP Distributor www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P, Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma. For Sale: Cobra Mig 250 w/ Push-pull gun. Lincoln Wirematic 250
Reply:I sprayed some .024 at about 24-25 volts... but was good only to 3/16 plate mild steel
Reply:I had a Lincoln powermig 200 which supposedly topped out at 22 volts and I could spray .035 with 95% argon and 5% oxygen. A lot depends on nozzle size and gas flow.Lincolin Power Wave 450, Lincoln Powermig 255, Lincoln Pro Mig 140, Lincoln Squarewave Tig 275, Miller Big 40 G(with Hobart Hefty suitcase), Thermal Arc 95S and Esab PCM875 in an already full machine shop.
