I bought this 1973 Hobart gf250 for 400.00 was painted yellow with tractor paint. Stored in a field for years. I sanded it up painted it. Owner didn't know why it wouldnt weld. I paid someone who didn't know what they were doing to repair the issue. I ended up figurering it out my self a unijuntion transistor that cost me 5 dollars. Welds smooth and like a dream, its set up for stick and dc tig Attached Images

Reply:Lol, my wife got them for such a GREAT deal and dragged then home. I wanted to throw them away, and I guess she though they would look best were all our neighbors could see them. Mabey they will majically disappear over night.

Reply:Took it out in the field. Set it up with a Radnor 17fv tig torch(150amps) drove to Destin Florida today to replace the steel tracks that a drive gate rolls on with some fancy new stainless tracks.
