Reply:Nice vid but...Why oh why do guys who melt aluminum never wear protective PPE, I work in a molten metal industry and have seen 1st hand what can happen if an explosion happens its not pretty at all and these guys were wearing industry standard PPE!They spend several months in a burns unit being soaked in solutions that soften the skin and then they get scrubbed down to remove the damaged tissue so new tissue can grow back, it never grows back very well and will always give you trouble for the rest of your life. Over here the medical is free, its not where you guys are... can you afford it what drain will it be on your family?   You are plain stupid if you think it wont happen... what are the chances you say 1000 to 1... the darwin award dictates the 1 is still there and will happen at some stage, think about it!
Reply:cool video..when I melted scrap lead down to make pigs of lead, I always did it in the winter and was bundled up hat and goggles, and it took alot of power washing in the summer to get the molten lead off the vinyl siding when a piece must of had some moisture on it and it went boom and splashed 6ft high...you always have to figure something bad will happen...Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most...I know just enough about everything to be dangerous......You cant cure stupid..only kill it...
