I bought some NON rental owner tanks on CL and they were bundled deals so got extra tanks that I don't need and plan to sell them on CL.  I have one certified 125 CF tank, two certified 60 CF tanks, one certified 20 CF tank, one certified 80 CF tank and one Presto Lite B style tank with an offset valve (not sure of the size but think it is 40 CF).  I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I was going to list the 125 at about $125 to $100, The 60's at about $60 each, the 20 at about $30 and the 80 at about $80.  I have no idea what the Presto Lite is worth.  Do these sound like the going prices? Thanks
Reply:Those prices look like about 1/2 of what my LWS charges for "new" full cylinders, so the price sounds fair, especially if they have any reasonable amount of gas in them. The Prestolite "B" size 40 cf cylinder lists at $75 in my flyer from my LWS full. I'd guess $30-40 would be fair. I've picked up a few from between $25 and $40 in the past that were at least 1/2 full..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:Thanks DSW.
Reply:Sounds fair to me.
