Another sa 200 dating ?

Hello everyone,    I am having a hard time deciphering all the info on codes,SN's etc. I recently bought an sa200. The faceplate is missing, the code on the generator housing is 6073, the generator housing is round, r-57 idler. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. I'm going buy a new faceplate and need to know which one. Thank you!Rob Parker

Reply:It is definitely a redface with a round barrel. Even the blackfaces with the round barrels are replacing their faceplates with red. As far as I know Kaye Sellon at www.billswelderrepair.com in OKC is the only able to come close to year manufactured with the code number only. Give her a call at 405-232-4799.  To my way of thinking  6073 will put you in the '65 or later bracket, but I'm often mistaken. Reply:CEP it dosen't have the split panel like the one in your picture, Duaneb55 it looks just like the one in the link you posted.
