Wireless foot control screw up

I just got a wireless foot control for an older "analog" Syncrowave 250. The foot control doesn't work. Did I screw up?  Is this machine too old for this?  I guess I just thought a 14 pin connector was a 14 pin connector. Any ideas?
Reply:What are you using it on?  My understanding was that all Miller 14 pin works the same way.

Reply:I did notice that the pins in the wireless receiver don't stick out as far as the old foot pedal cable. But still look like they should make contact in the welders connector.

Reply:If you go to Millers web site,go to remote section you will find the appication area that shows what models they will work on,some also go by serial numbers.Not all will work just because its a 14 pin.If your not sure give miller a call they will help you out.
