Just wondering if a later model governor from another SA-200 will work on a short hood.I know they look different as far as the control arm and operate at different rpm's. My original governor works but leaks oil at the control arm junction. Since I'm doing a replacement of all oil retaining gaskets I don't want to keep the old one pissing oil and defeating the purpose. thanks kamotz

Reply:Yea, I'll look more into that. Just a little intimidated about breaking in to my original thinking there must be some voodoo magic involved seeing as how the rebuilds with core exchange included charge dang near $500.00. Would be nice to keep the original though with it's cast housing and control arm. just looks better than the later ones.
