Flux core duel shield vertical practice on 1/2" plate and a bend test on another one I did. Going to take a test at work in two weeks when the training class is over. All of the bend tests so far have been clean, the test is vertical, horizontal and overhead on one inch plate "v" groove with a backer. Anybody have advice on things to do and not to do. Reply:Be sure to include a stop and restart in the root passes. When you cut it up into coupons for bending, bend it against your stop/restarts.1" plate?
