Reply:Buy yourself a ring roller, and make them yourself. Might be cheaper, unless your ordering hundreds of them.

Reply:Ive rolled thousands of them on my lathe. Just set up a piece of pipe smaller than the inside diameter between the chuck and the tail-stock about 3 ft long. weld a little L shaped chunk of plate to catch the end of the twenty ft. long round bar. wear gloves. and turn the lath on slow. The lath will roll the rod up on the piece of pipe like a spring. when you get close to the end shut the lath off. The spring shape will unwind a small amount and allow you to take it off the pipe . Then you just feed it into your cutoff saw and little round circles will fall off one after the other, all the same size. Mac. |
