I have a Miller Legend AEAD 200-LE (JH259123) that is not getting 12 volts back to the battery for charging. What could be the problem? Thanks for the help. jw
Reply:Possibly voltage regulator. Are you getting any at all and what is the reading on the meter? We have Miller Blue Chargers at the shop which are virtually twins to the Legend except they are additionally set up to charge batteries for our service trucks that operate the cranes on them. They came up with a problem in that they were over charging the batteries to the tune of 36volts!!! Blowing the battery caps and boiling them over with acid. It turn out to be bad voltage regulator which was contained in the units pc board. Dont remember the cost, unit was out of warranty, but dont think it was too cheap. Not to scare you, just to let you know to be prepared for sticker shock. Good luck.A few of my toys !LinuxMintManjaroMiller Roughneck 2E Lincoln WeldPak 100HTP MTS 160 Chicago Electric 80amp Inverter Victor O/A
