I'm looking to use 6011 rod, do I use the 6010 port or do I reverse polarity or standard positive negative ports..thanks in advance. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Reply:Yes, 6011 will benefit from the 6010 port.  Any rod with cellulose flux for that matter.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT

Reply:Originally Posted by BigTBDepending on which welder you have, there should be a port on the back of the welder where the hose from the cylinder/regulator will connect, and a port on the front of the welder where the fitting from the torch connects. The welder will turn gas flow on and off automatically, you will have to adjust the flow rate with the regulator/flowmeter.
Reply:This is why I was asking in your other post.  I think you either ordered the wrong setup or were provided the wrong setup. The larger threaded fitting would go into the back of a machine that has a gas solenoid. Your model does not so this fitting makes no sense in relation to your machine. Same for the smaller quick release fitting. it would go into the front of a machine with a gas solenoid, which you do not have (sorry for being redundant  ). Unless Everlast has a special fitting to joint these two hoses, I think you need a completely different torch setup.Miller Multimatic 255
Reply:Seems as I’ve seen hose barb splice fittings with different size barbs on the ends. If so I would buy one, and cut the ends off those hoses, and splice them together. I’ve never seen an Everlast Tig torch before, so I’m not much help!Don’t pay any attention to meI’m just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400
Reply:I just checked, they sell a torch with a valve, but no quick disconnect (EV 17 Flex head TIG torch, gas valve, 15 ft, 35 DINSE), that is probably the one you need. Yours definitely has a quick disconnect which I suspect will never work with your machine.Miller Multimatic 255
Reply:Here’s the Tig torch I use with my PowerArc 200ST. Piece of cake to set up, even for a rookie like me! http://www.ebay.com/itm/200878811153...%3AMEBIDX%3AITDon’t pay any attention to meI’m just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400
Reply:I would hope he can just return the torch for one with the correct connections. Seems like a simple error with a quick and easy fix.Miller Multimatic 255
