Reply:I see no tragedy there at all. He was stealing, tough s**t, if I was walking out and seen a jack under my truck that has no right to be there, down she goes............Mike

Reply:Fresh out of college and in the working world of bigger dollar income I bought my first new truck back in '04 from my dad who sold at a Ford dealership before he retired, I had also worked there through college in the detail dept so I knew where all the new vehicles coming in off the truck were parked as well as the new stock, used vehicles and vehicles for service.  I'd spent alot of my 24 years on this world at the dealership and knew practically everyone there and we considered each other part of a large family.Late in the afternoon my dad called me to say the truck I had ordered came in and late that night I went by to see it knowing it would be parked out back.  It just so happened that a thief was on the dealer lot removing parts, I kind of walked around where I could see him under a truck and called the cops and watched.  He carried a set of running boards to a truck in the service area and placed them in it and went back to the new Superduty he got them from and picked up the passenger side running boards.  He happened to walk by where I was and spotted me at which point he happened to trip and slam his head into the hood of a truck at which point I told him to just stay on the ground till the cops got here.  (no cameras in that area so that was the official story)That's about the time the cops rolled on scene. He claimed he was just getting the parts and a friend was coming to pick him up later.  After the officers talked to me I said BS, he carried them to that truck over there.  Turns out he had a full set of tires and rims off of a brand new truck, several sets of running boards, a few other items off of customer vehicles in the service lot, over $10,000 worth. He got hauled off. The owner of the dealership called me the next morning at 8 am, keep in mind my dad worked there for 30 years so this guy had known me since the day I was born and considered me family, said I saved the dealership a boatload of insurance claim and my new truck that I was already getting a heck of a deal on he was cutting me even more of a break.  Karma is a bitch but karma also is a good thing.Last edited by Birdhunter1; 04-23-2021 at 12:23 PM.

Reply:its absolutely disgusting how many negative messages are being made in that newscast.       when the cops catch them in the act, they ought to handcuff them around the catyl convert, and start the car, and let that baby warm up real good.     then turn the trash loose, so he can go show all his little low life buddies his new permanent brands.     this sorta crime would then come to a screeching halt.     he'd be so sore, he wouldnt be able too wipe his own *** for months, and everyone could see the scars, and know he's a new age  "cat burglar"

Reply:Reporter looks good in a mask, what do you think she'd look like without?Oh,... the story. Oh well, one less thief. Nature in its overabundance will provide two more.An optimist is usually wrong, and when the unexpected happens is unprepared. A pessimist is usually right, when wrong, is delighted, and well prepared.
