Tractor drawbar bracket.

This is the tractor drawbar bracket that i made to bolt underneath my ford 8n in the factory drawbar bracket. I made a drawbar that pins into it(not pictured) that held up to a 2700# pull last fall. I Don't know why i never posted pictures of it before but forhire's post with the drawbar adapter reminded me to run out and get a few shots of it.Yes... The bolt that held the drawbar up to the bracket is broken, but it was only temporary until i get some time to figure a stronger solution out.The other thing pictured fits in the drawbar to adapt it to an allis chalmers one bottom plow so that i can use it before i get the allis tractor started...... Hopefully.... The engine on it is locked up so i have diesel and acetone in the cylinders to try and loosen the, cylinders up. I put a grease fitting on it because i figured it would last longer, and work better that way. Reply:Yeah... Thats why i opted for the stock location. I made it because they are expensive, even used or aftermarket. I may make on in the future for the swinging drawbar but have no use for it now.Yes, they are grade 8 bolts... Seemed most appropriate. Also, since it supports a sliding pressure, if you can imagine that, the bolts would be more vulnerable to shearing if they get lossened.
