I was just at my dealer and he said the miller 200 tig is ready to be released according to his miller rep. They are just gonna be waiting till the 180sd machines are most of the way sold off before they release the new one. Anyone else heard anything on this machine?
Reply:It is in the 2006 catalog. I just got my new 05' Sync 250 Dx and my dad was saying how little the new 06 was. I didn't understand what he was talking about so I looked in the catalog, and there it was Syncrowave 200. it's on the main page of the millerwelds.com site.some features: NOTE: it doesn't have a water cooler.Expanded Welding CapabilitiesThe extended amperage range of 5–200 amps provides the ability to weld thin sheet metal and the extra amperage capacity to weld thicker material — up to 1/4" aluminum with AC TIG.Professional Bead Appearance and ResultsThe standard, built-in pulser is easy to set with single-knob adjustment. Pulsing can decrease heat input on thin materials for added puddle control while reducing burn-through and the warping effects of distortion.Better Results on AluminumAC Balance Control can be adjusted to improve the weld appearance on aluminum — fine-tuning arc cleaning action and extending tungsten electrode life.Simplified Setup and OperationKey process variables are controlled automatically by the power source for optimum performance in each process. Digital parameter presets enhance repeatability and accuracy for more consistent results.Complete Accessory Kit IncludedWorth over $300, the Syncrowave 200 comes complete with the required accessories for TIG and Stick welding.Plug-in Power Tools and AccessoriesThe innovative Syncrowave 200 is the only power source in its class to bring a new level of convenience with its 115V front panel receptacle.Millermatic 251Century 180 migSpectrum 625 Syncrowave 250DX
Reply:Yep, it is on the front page of the www.millerwelds.com website.Interestingly, if you go to the product page there is a picture that looks suspiciously like the 250DX - right clicking and saving the images confirms that the file name is a "250DX" something or other. Guess they have to do a little proofreading... Also, the 180 is no longer listed. |
