How much is a good functioning miller 200 le aead worth?HH 190Uniweld TorchesLincoln 225 ac-sMarquette Starjet torches gauges
Reply:I have a chance to accept as a trade for my 1982 Yamaha maxim 750 in good shape. It's worth 1000/1100.HH 190Uniweld TorchesLincoln 225 ac-sMarquette Starjet torches gauges
Reply:I'd say if it's in really good shape you'd be doing about right. I see them junk for $400 and cherry up to about $12-1400.
Reply:It's a little dented and faded but starts runs well.HH 190Uniweld TorchesLincoln 225 ac-sMarquette Starjet torches gauges
Reply:$600-700 would be more realistic probably, but depends on where you are, how bad you want it and what else is available at the time.

Reply:Faceplate isn't faded out so bad you can't read it, so that and the wheel kit are a plus. It's an acceptable deal to me. Not a smokin hot deal but probably about average.
Reply:$500-$700 is the average for these machines and the Bluestar machines. This one has no battery on it.JasonLincoln Idealarc 250 stick/tigThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 52Miller Bobcat 250Torchmate CNC tableThermal Arc Hefty 2Ironworkers Local 720

Reply:Actually from the looks of it I think it's the model just before the Legend version. It has most of the features of that version except automatic generate at idle. In other words you have to flip a switch to get it to generate at idle. They do make a upgraded idle board that solves this.   It's a pretty good welder if everything is in good shape. The engine is the big question mark. Depends on how much it's been run but wear in the engine is often the real killer on these.   As for tig it's pretty basic. No remote amperage control (though it's possible to rig a hand control for it). It would be scratch start only.  As for the Bluestar connection. Well they are similar but the Bluestar is a good bit lower powered.Millermatic 252XMT 304'sDynasty 280DXHypertherm PowerMax 1250Miller Trailblazer 302 EFIOptima PulserXR feeder and XR Edge gun and more athttp://members.dslextreme.com/users/waynecook/index.htm

Reply:What's an F150 worth?  The problem is that the AEAD-200LE was made for decades, and the machine in question could have seen any amount of use.  Putting a hard value on it based on the name alone is not quite reasonable, though the ranges listed above are.I see the better muffler in the listing.  The ones with two separate mufflers are older, and supposedly awful loud.  This one looks a lot like mine from 1984.
Reply:Originally Posted by geezerbillMy bad.I thought I remembered from when I was buying mine, that the Bluestar had a duty cycle of about 60% at 200 amps, and 100% only at about 150, vs the AEAD at 100% at 200 amps. And the engine rpm while welding is 3600 on the Bluestar vs. the 3,000 of the AEAD.Of course, you can read just about anything on the web. I guess that doesn't mean it is completely accurate, huh? All in all, if the motor is very solid - easy starts, good compression, no smoke, no unexpected noises, and everything on the machine works as it should, 1,000 would be an ok price.I would find out if he would bite at 750 or 800 first.Eventually, someone will buy it at 1,000.I was lucky. mine had a recent engine rebuild, but is butt-ugly. It is also like a '72 model without automatic idle control, but I got it a little cheaper.

Reply:The point here isn't what you guys think of the colour or what you guys think of it being on the road without a plate. The point is for less than $1000, look what you can get.
