Reply:That's a good looking railing.
Reply:Very nice railings. Not to be critical but shoes would have put it over the top.
Reply:I could not use them the base plates are off set to keep them out of the sidewalk and the railing is set up to be taken down for the winter.
Reply:DGMGreat visuals - the 'black & red really pop', against beige of the superior-building. Again - I envy your stage . . .Were the cells laser/plasma cut, or laboriously cut/fit/welded? In this modern machine age: old-school labor vs material cost and machine magic, is the current welding\economic quandary.- - - - - - - - - - - -Kudos aside - in regard to Life Safety - see post #9 . . .http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...ighlight=PatioIf the rail is anchored - this is a more egregious violation than merely blocking access to the building - you are blocking accessto the dedicated 'fire-bibs' that your local FD relies upon. I have: '1.5 - first hand' experience with a Metro FD: Captain/Inspector/Investigator. Fortunately, his focus was on another metal contractor. They [FD] have the power to lock [all] the doors of the building until 'the violation' is corrected. This is really expensive . . .When discovered - someone is going to be 'cited' - get ahead of the inevitable - so it is not upon you . . .Opus
Reply:The brick pattern is cut and welded square stock. All the permits are usually done 6 to 12 months before the project is installed. |
