Just an update on my slip on forks that I welded with 6013 on AC when I ran out of mig wire on the first few tacks. The old thread (2 yrs ago): http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...uty&highlight=Son Mike took a video of me driving it into the shop Using the forks to tote it around is much nicer than driving it with it swinging from a chain Just thought I'd share that I've managed to not break them for 2 years Dave J.Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance. ~George Bernard Shaw~ Syncro 350Invertec v250-sThermal Arc 161 and 300MM210DialarcTried being normal once, didn't take....I think it was a Tuesday.

Reply:Who's that old fat guy driving the tractor??? Sorry Dave, I couldn't help it. I know you would have been quick to point the same out had I have been driving it too Those forks will probably outlast us both. Expert Garage Hack....https://www.facebook.com/steven.webber.948

Reply:Originally Posted by MinnesotaDaveAt least it has some paint on it I would like to disassemble and paint, but I've got too much other stuff to do - and it will have to be for sale as is (running out of money again).I'll have to do it to the little wisconsin air cooled model - that should look cool
Reply:Is the Lincoln painted in badly faded Miller blue, or actually powderpuff blue?  Just askin'.
