i have a weldanpower 225 ac/dc i had the circut boards rebuilt by innovac inc. new brusches, plug i checked idle transformer but still cant get the auto idle to work right i use the grinder takes like 3 to 5 sec. to idle up and when striking an arc wont idle up i even turned off the switch will dled but when turned on it will idle down when welding. the only thing i have not changed is the capacitor will a week capacitor affect the auto idle does anyone know?
Reply:Try putting 12 volts from the battery to the throttle solenoid. See if it pulls in quickly.Unplug it from the harness first. Which capacitor are you asking about? Looking at the diagram I don't see any capacitors in the solenoid circuit.
