Set on a Miller, but found this model to be very tempting, compared to the Miller Thunderbolt 225/150 machine. How does the Hobart #500560 Burn 6010 5P electrodes?I was told by the rep that this machine is all analog, no electronic boards. I thought that most transformer based welders had a small cicuit board. I also have been told that the miller and the Hobart are the same , just different color boxes. The miller/Hobart rep agreed with that , but he said while the thunderbolt and the stickmate were the same, not all the machines were the same. Miller thunderbolt has no thermal overload, or any overload warning or protection. While , Hobarts' stickmate 300/200 ac/dc welder has double overload protection, according to the rep. Thanks,Ome |
