Best material thickness gauge for floor pans

Redoing the floors in a 1995 Ford f 350.  Is 18 gauge about right?  Is it possible to also strengthen the mounts?HH 190Uniweld TorchesLincoln 225 ac-sMarquette Starjet torches gauges

Reply:18 Ga and you can use hat channel to reinforce.The hat channel can be found by the steel studs at a lumber yard that sells steel studs.
