Reply:I really like the look and quality of your work. In my opinion you have a good eye. Good luck with the venture.
Reply:The website and work look good. On the services page under signage the third line does not seem to make sense to me, might just be me. Good luck.Mike
Reply:I like your site. Nice photo's too. Since it is you and that hot woman in your avatar, [ RIGHT ? ] I would  add a picture of you and her. Maybe add a picture of shop with American Flag in front mounted on flag pole. You could make them too. Photo of truck, trailer , and welded project ready for delivery to site. I did see the one of ARK but I think a view showing the entire setup has a greater impact. Good luck !

Reply:You do very nice work! Great detail.I wish you well in your adventure
Reply:The site looks good.  One word of caution though.  Using images for your content instead of text will negatively affect your search engine rankings.  It also makes it so the site won't scale for various screen sizes and can lead to slow rendering.

Reply:Looks pretty good on my iphone. Can you click on the pics and make them bigger in the desktop version

Reply:I find that the site does not fit into my screen, it is just a bit too large. I think that your default size should be a little bit smaller for a better universal fit, my screen resolution is 1280 x 768When a welder tells you to "stick it", what do they really mean?"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell
Reply:I think you need a bolder font.
Reply:It looks really good.  My first reaction is I had to seek out what you actually fabricated.  (My eye was drawn to the monitor and typewriter and your awesome desk was not focal point.  I also agree font could be bigger.  This is "nit picky" and only telling you since you asked.  Great work and good luck!!!KRS
Reply:I really don't like the white back ground either. To many web sites have it. You can check mine out and see what I mean.  http://www.dracometalworks.com/
Reply:I think you should make the pics expand to show you work better...
Reply:WOW, thanks for all the responses!!! I am going back with my wife and looking at the font to see if we can find something that we like and stands out a little bit more. Reply:Originally Posted by Mick120You know me mate, I have to nitpick.....I don't mind the white background, it makes the site load faster. The one thing that caught my eye was, the third pic to load showing close up of the table frame, showed off the weld in an uninspiring way......Don't take offence, I mean as constructive but, if it were me, I'd have that weld ground back.Apart from that.....all good.Wish you well in the venture....
Reply:I am not usually the safety guy, but due to repeated trips to ER's for things in my eye I tend to be more careful.  I have also been in charge of selecting vendors for a few different projects and if I was looking at your website and saw the pics of you grinding with no eye/face protection, it would be easy to DQ you.  I am not sure what the target demographic is but if you want to bid on jobs for larger companies or city/counties, you may think about putting different action shots in.  Most people won't notice or care but i would hate to lose a job because of that.

Reply:Well...here are my nitpicks (don't take these the wrong way, I've worked in the tech industry for years and website layout is something that I've found annoys me really quickly if there are structures or layout to it that I don't like):1) Scale:  The index page with the rotating gallery and the gallery page don't auto-scale, so they are kind of aggravating to me since I usually have 20+ windows open and none of them are open at full screen2) The facebook/twitter/email/print bar is something that never should have been created.  Drop that POS off the page, it's annoying and doesn't help a damn thing3) Contact page is white text on a white background for the input field descriptions...fix that4) Content: The site itself right off the bat doesn't tell me much about your services/capabilities.  It has pictures and links to what you do, but when I go to a site, I want to know what they offer right away...if I'm looking for underwater welding of crustacean shells, I don't want to dig around the site to find out they don't offer that service/product.5) Navigation: breaking the navigation across both a top and bottom nav bar is something that I find kind of aggravating personally, I'd rather be able to get to all the navigation links in one location (top, side, whatever, just not in two totally separate portions of the page) (the mobile view is actually better to navigate than the full view which is an oddity to me, but good to see the mobile view is nicely useable/viewable).6) Content again: Took me a while to get that the fish picture is showing off your laser etching capabilities...I'd honestly rather see a photo of the laser etcher in action...it conveys more of what your are offering (being the laser etching as a service, not Five Star Fish Processing cutting boards).Again, don't take that the wrong way, it's meant to be constructive criticism.--Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow

Reply:Originally Posted by HowdahMy mistake, it just struck me that you weren't.  but i looked again and noticed earplugs so it would be odd to have earplugs but no glasses.put more laser etching up with all different materials, that is cool technology and gets my mind working.Hard to see, but they are definitely there.  Attached ImagesMiller Dynasty 200 DXBuildPro TMA52238 (38" x 22")Miller MP-10 & Jackson Nexgen EQC20 Ton Press & Swag HD Press Brake
