What do you guys think of them? Sorry if the picture is crooked I can never seem to get them straight..
Reply:You started off real good and looks like you were losing your torch angle, or shaking after the halfway mark. You also snapped the torch out and left a pinhole at the end. Try and make dry runs to where your comfortable throughout the whole weld. When terminating the weld if your using a foot pedal add filler at the end making small circles while backing off the heat.Miller Maxstar 200 SDPiperliner #10 Gold
Reply:X2 with the above advice. If you can't make it to the end of the joint without losing the torch angle, or shaking, etc., just weld as far as you can while maintaining full control, then stop. Reposition your hand, and restart the bead. The nice thing about TIG is that restarts are easy to do, with a little practice. Just let the puddle fully re-establish, then start adding filler rod.Rich
Reply:Thank you guys for the tips!
Reply:You should do a dry run before starting so you know how far you can get before adjustments have to be made...Straighten that out first and then you should make it to the end with no problems......zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:I tried out the tips you guys told me about

Reply:What do you mean by arc strikes outside the weld? Do you mean when I first start the weld on the corner it needs to be cleaner?
