I just set up my Maxstar 150 and ran a few beads on mild steel. I'm using the "foot pedal" control in the tig / hf mode. The post flow seemed a little short when welding at the higher settings. I read the owners manual but didn't see any post/pre flow adjustment listed. The question I have is can the postflow time be increased if desired/needed. I didn't see any info on Millers site. Thanks for any input.
Reply:The post flow on the Maxstar 150 is non adjustable. It however is automatically variable based on the output amperage. In the comparison chart on Miller website it states the post flow increases by one second for every 10 amp increase.
