Reply:Not sure. But making your own out of PVC pipe is very easy. I know I have seen posts of some very nice home made ones. Dan D.Manipulator Of Metal
Reply:You can make a whole lot of tig rod holders out of PVC pipe and end caps for not much money.

Reply:I purchased Rod Gard tubes in the past. They're a little more than PVC but I liked the screw on cap and rubber seal. Easy to grab out of the rack and take on the road too. The PVC deal is the best way to go on a budget. I'll likely do it since the dynasty is gone.Expert Garage Hack....https://www.facebook.com/steven.webber.948
Reply:i use rod guards, but pvc would work.as to the question of grey pvc, it typically, if not always, means it is sch. 80. white is sch. 40, which is thinner. conduit is always sch. 80 where i come from, so the electrical section of home depot will give you that.the plumbing section will give you sch. 40, if you so desirebosses stuff:trailblazer 325maxstar 200my stuff:sa 200fronius transpocket 180100 amp Lincoln w/f97 f350 DITKevin

Reply:I don't use that many different filler rods......half a dozen or so. I also cut them down to 18" for ease of storage and handling. I came across these tonight......wonder if you can make them cheaper out of PVC?https://weldingsupply.com/cgi-bin/sp...G-200-24 |
