A couple inquired about how I was doing so thought I should give an update. I was in the Cross Cancer Institute for about 3 weeks getting the stem cell/bone marrow transplant. Recovering zaps any energy I have and I feel lousy. I have trouble swallowing and can't eat solid food yet. It may take 3 month's or longer to recover. I hope it doesn't but I have no idea. Just holding a phone up or my arms lying on the bed feel like a workout. Only thing that keeps me going is most transplants have very positive results. The way I feel makes me wonder if I should have opted out of the transplant. I feel that crappy! I'm still kicking though and trying to stay positive but it's hard.
Reply:My boy is looking for a gene therapy or bone marrow transplant.   I know it would suck for him so it has to suck for you.  Keep your head up and keep moving forward. Sent from my SM-G960U using TapatalkI haven't built anything I can't throw away.  Perfection is the journey.    Mac
Reply:My son went through pancreatic cancer surgery (whipple) 6 years ago. Included radiation and chemo for 9 months. Was hell, as he described it, but now cancer free. Keep on Keeping on. It does get better in time.ChrisAuction Addict

Reply:Sounds rough Dave, real rough.    But you sound tuff, real tuff (keep it up).     Try to log in every night or two, and conversate on here - not to go away, without posting for so long again.   Theres been plenty of technical stuff come up around here, that ur helpful on.    Also, were expecting at least 1 weekly update every week in this thread
