I gotta weld 500 plus ft of 6" kick plate. Should I use stick or a wire suitcase? Cheaper? Faster?

oes kick plate require full weld seam? Can you run gas or will it be FCAW?Can you maneuver a wire feed where it's at?Does job pay by the hour? o you have the time to finger f...I mean, play around with the wire feeder when it buggers up and likewise is it feasable to drag it around behind you? (ala, flat surface)
