Has anyone fabricated raised planter boxes.  I was thinking of making the frame out of metal and the bed out of cedar.  I just don't know how the metal would hold up outdoors and getting constantly watered.  I would like to make them about 3 to 4 foot tall.  Wife and I are getting up in age and would like to avoid the bending over when weeding.  Just giving it some thought.  I don't have equipment or knowledge for aluminum welding so I would have to mig weld them.  Thanks

Reply:Id just use 2x2 angle and put a good paint job on it. As long and you set it on brick or something of that nature It will last for many years with a quality paint to seal the steel.Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk
