Hello , I just purchased a hobart beta-mig along with 2 tanks. 1 argon, 1argon/co2 mix , Im in NY and would like to determine the date code.they are 300cf tanks based on linde's websitethe tanks are stamped first tank DOT 3AA 2400T 749913 LINDESecond tankDOT 3AA 24002558A161

The 2400 after the DOT 3AA is the service pressure.The T 749913 is likely a serial or asset number and only means anything to Linde.There should be some numbers followed by a + and maybe a star.Pictures of all stampings on these would be helpful.GravelThe difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference.

Reply:The oldest bottle I had or the first hydro date was in 1947. I gave it to my friend in so cal when I left. He's still using it. Yes 330cf. Some will fill it to that some won't. Your prolly gonna pay for 330cf whether you get it or not.
