Reply:Chantz, Unless you are entering the porn industry, where other things will kill you first, take some of your hard earned cash and buy a welding jacket and wear it while you weld, even tack. We don't cover up just because we think it looks cool or we love to sweat and are too cheap to buy a sauna. Skin cancer gets real ugly. Good luck with your videos.---Meltedmetal

Reply:Well as stated '' YES '' to wearing a long sleeve shirt . I did watch the bridge video that should up after this on one. The GOOD is that grinder without a guard and cutting wheel didn't do any damage to your body , bad would be if it did. Videos are a great source of learning for many. The viewers could be young kids and newbees that watch and see the UNSAFE use of tools and missing the necessary personal protection. Maybe consider a disclosure saying this is my way to do it and not necessarily the safest or something. We want everyone to return to home intact and not the EMERGENCY ROOM.

Reply:I think the bridge is very clever. A minimum number of pieces used to make a basically two-dimensional wall-hanging jump right out at you as being three dimensional. I don't aspire to doing art myself, yet I envy imaginative guys like you who can come up with this stuff.The fully-fingered "hand" that holds your torch looks a little inconvenient for use during a job, but as a place to hang the torch at the end of the day it's good for the shop visitor who happens to notice it. Some of us were talking on another thread about having antique tools and machines around the shop as show n' tells, but your conversation pieces come out of your own head. Pretty cool, Chantz!!
