I recently dropped my machine off at engine shop(sa 200). Thought I had a valve gone bad but come to find out it's something to do with the firing of machine, last I heard they were trying to pin point exactly where it was but I figured someone else had this prob before an if I can get a answer for the shop it would be good, the machine had a mis while idling and when I struck arc.
Reply:Have thee magneto rebuilt or see if you can change to an electronic ignition system.On some engines there is a plug you can remove in the head and install an electronic distributor.  look up genasee products,
