Made this out of some 4 stainless 16 gauge tube. Half gas and half oil in same container. No more washing the sawdust in the tank anymore. I wanna get some more flexible hoses

Reply:That's some excellent practice there moto Seems a little unnecessary (gimmicky) to me, but a very good job of fabrication, fit up and attention to detail for sure.Dave J.Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance. ~George Bernard Shaw~ Syncro 350Invertec v250-sThermal Arc 161 and 300MM210DialarcTried being normal once, didn't take....I think it was a Tuesday.

Reply:Our standard set of cans is a couple of clorox gallon jugs tied about a 18 inches apart with some hay twine... works great and it isn't a big deal when you can't find where you set them in the woods or they get ran over by the skidder. I figured that's what you were making moto... was gonna suggest you make one side double capacity but didn't want to tip j'kins off. Oh... one thing you might think on... is place the valves at the end of the tubing and maybe get some silicone tubing that is fuel resistant or that clearish yellow stuff I forget the name... zylon... or something like that....Ps. Like the oil marker but you need tube holders like a fire extinguisher has to keep the tubing ends at bay...Last edited by ronsii; 04-08-2019 at 11:59 PM.
Reply:Nice ,need some plugs to keep crap out of lines
Reply:I think the name is "Tygon" . Even that seems to get cloudy from using the Ethanized fuels(or it could be UV). I've used it on all my old equipment to replace the other stuff that cracks with age and or reacts with the ethanol. Really nice job on the welding, are you going to polish that up? I would hate to forget and leave that on a job site.P.S. Reply:Weld a couple of blank nipples on the sides and put your hose back on when not in use instead of having a plug that is easy to lose.

erfect idea thanks6boys. I filled it with gas already so I’ll have to be carful. Might fill it with water while welding to be in the safe sideIt’s already got a decent buff job. Not sure maybe 1/2 gallon almost

Reply:Gets real cold, in a pinch, you could put brandy in that thing Just don't put it on the oil side

Reply:I use drink mix bottles that have the pour spout in the cap.
Reply:I have to try using those laundry soap bottles...I mix a few splashes of kerosene in my bar oil for winter, it doesn't evaporate out like the gasoline does.Sent from my LM-Q710.FG using TapatalkRyanMiller Multimatic 200 tig/spool gun/wireless remoteMillermatic 350P, Bernard/XR Python gunsMiller Dynasty 350, Coolmate 3.5 & wireless remoteCK WF1 TIG wire feederMiller Spectrum 375 XtremeOptrel e684Miller Digital EliteMiller Weld-Mask
